    Following the government's announcement today raising the thresholds for APR/BPR, NFU President Tom Bradshaw (@ProagriLtd) thanks the Labour and opposition MPs who have voiced the concerns of their farming constituents and lobbied for changes to APR/BPR proposals.

    Penrith Labour MP @MCSavours says he cannot vote with the government on the #familyfarmtax because farmers were previously assured it would not happen. The many farmers and associated rural businesses in his constituency will be grateful for his courageous & principled stance.

    At @CommonsTreasury yesterday, @RachelReevesMP maintained that 73% of farms will not be impacted by the #FamilyFarmTax. We disagree. Defra's own figures show that 66% of farms are of a value that could bring them in scope. Thank you to @JohnGlenUK for raising this.
