- In our first @bedsfreeschool half term Mrs Lehain and Mr Normanton delivered a couch to 5K elective. Today the students, and anyone else who wanted to take part, completed the Bedford parkrun! #electives #personaldevelopment
- Brilliant first week of my Sports Readers elective. 10 @bedsfreeschool yr7 boys who are football mad but with reading ages significantly below the national average. Reading out loud, using @Doug_Lemov guide the action, ‘Up Pohnpei’ by @paul_c_watson
- The @bedsfreeschool Head Students Sophie and Isabelle leading morning line up for our new yr7 this morning. The BFS senior student leaders will lead whole school line up every Friday. #leadership #highaspirations
- Honoured to receive an @ECB_cricket @Cricket_East grassroots cricket award for connecting communities in recognition of the @bedsfreeschool club link with @khcricketclub. Giving our boys and girls opportunities to play, lead and coach cricket.

- Today @bedsfreeschool said goodbye to Mrs Monk who is leaving BFS to spend more time with her young family. A true BFS legend. Over a decade of inspiring girls in PE and an incredible colleague to work with. I’ll miss her greatly as will the students.
- What a superb @bedsfreeschool Iftar event. Organised by the best PE technician in the country, Mr Arman. 200 staff, students and volunteers packed into our hall. Great way to end the term.
