A football player using agility ladders under the belief that they're actually developing agility.

Me: Many of the position drills that NFL coaches do are laughably bad & will lead to virtually zero positive transfer. People: Surely you're making it out to be worse than it really is, right? Me: ......
Jadeveon Clowney is looking SCARY GOOD at Browns training camp x.com/HunterAHomiste…

Agility ladders don’t work a lick on anything to do with agility and well, umm, are a complete waste of time.
What opinion of yours in sports coaching will have you like this? [Idea stolen by the way!]

If you can watch these 2 minutes and; a) you don't decide to immediately rewatch it and; b) it doesn't make your day considerably better, then we probably couldn't actually be friends.

Position coaches just continue to make useless crap up at every level

It's always important to ask one's self: does the player perform on-field because of what they do in training or is it actually in-spite of what they do?

Have watched this video about 2 dozen times already & can't stop smiling as @teddyb_h2o is out there doing his thing in the place God had intended him to. Having seen a small amount of the countless hours of deliberate work he invested to do so is a blessing.
He had a 150.5 passer rating in his @nyjets preseason debut. Teddy Bridgewater's (@teddyb_h2o) BEST PLAYS from #ATLvsNYJ!

Yeah, no…not even close. Just stop the insanity already.

At first I had a few doubts as to how this acquisition may work out in the Lions favor...after all, simulating the 1 of 1 mover that is Lamar is a tall order esp. in just a few days of practice. However, after rewatching last night's game back through, I am not sure I have seen
Former Patriots and Ravens WR/QB Malik Cunningham is signing with the Detroit Lions practice squad, per source.

For the 2nd day in a row while at the field, I watched a private soccer trainer take nearly an hour to set up his skills & agility obstacle course. Lights, trampolines, bands, video cameras, ladders (duh). Then his 'client' showed up and she was probably all of 5 or 6 years old.

SMH when I catch word of certain S&C professionals who believe that "there's no need to have an entire conference geared around understanding movement skill"...if that's you, I would hate to be your athletes. Newsflash hotshot: strength isn't everything.

Hard to believe that it's now officially been 14 years since I've walked around the world looking like this! Even harder to believe that certain S&C coaches still want to try to claim that I'm only a movement coach who knows very little about gaining strength 😎

If you can catch a tennis ball while wearing occlusion glasses and balancing on a bosu ball you should certainly be able to handle catching a football under the perceptual changes which come with wearing a different helmet, right? 😂😂
Antonio Brown believes the new helmet that the rules mandate he wears protrudes out and interferes with his vision as he tries to catch football. The Raiders have been sending Brown other approved helmets to try out but, at this time, he is not interested in wearing any of them.
