Family who had a daughter who changed faith and the father disowning her because of his own beliefs mostly because that would make for a heart wrenching story all by itself and they literally do nothing with it.
- Reminder that ugly movie Sonic isnt just a gag in this movie and is actually a pivotal character in it's plot. Just how much of this movie wouldn't exist without Ugly Sonic? Thats not the kind of question you ask of a sincere film.

- Replying to @sunstarm6onIt's always taken a LOT for Luffy to yell at his allies, even if they aren't crewmates. For him to be this fed up with Sanji's sacrificial tendencies DAY ONE is good insight to how this part of his character being his greatest asset many years later in Whole Cake.
- Replying to @sanjiluvbotSanji and Zoro acting against their typical character traits in times of crisis is so good. The normally cool and thoughtful Sanji becomes emotional while Zoro loses his hot-headedness and brash nature to become more logical. Balances them out as Luffy's right hand men.
- Ok but like the divide in their bangs informing the visuals of unicorn horns to make them aesthetically more attached to their canonical pony counterparts is actually a really ingenious touch, mad props.
