TV show “The Boys” used to be one of my favorites.
Pointing out the elites evil tendencies in the form of “superhero’s”.
Now it pivots to say Trump people bad other people good. Along with every scene injecting woke nonsense+ new strong smart female black character.
WTF
Dracula is so funny because Trevor (the hero) upon hearing his backstory is like “…..shit. Uh-jeez. I-I can’t really blame you. Like you’re nuts and have to die, but Jesus man.”
Dude gets a way out in the fifth episode where his billionaire friends who HE cut out and ditched offer him not only a high paying job, but to completely cover the chemo treatments and healthcare costs out of pocket lol
“Yeah one of the X Men's deadliest foes is Xavier's twin sister who Xavier in the womb tried to murder by wrestling her which worked and she was stillborn, but she survived as a mass of cells in a sewer wall for decades while she built herself a body.”
Fake out deaths in superhero movies are usually lame but Megamind has my favorite by far
Metro Man has an existential crisis and orchestrates a fake death, all in under a second
It's interesting that he feels he has no choice but to fake his death in order to be himself.
Peak
Fucking hilarious it took this long for a film to do Metropolis's main thing. Gotham has psychopaths and gangs.
Metropolis is safer from mundane stuff but trade off gets giant robots and Kaiju weekly
All my issues with MHA and its plot and worldbuilding aside: All Might's their biggest achievement. He’s phenomenally good. Arguably the best Superman analogue in decades.
