Doctors and nurses are emotionally and physically exhausted from treating COVID-19 patients. If SAB wins it’s battle to lift the #AlcoholBan they must come and also treat the alcohol related trauma cases because we currently don’t have the energy to deal with two pandemics.

Anyone who has been following the work that MEC Dr Phophi has been doing will tell you that she’s going beyond her duties to make sure that we address our surgical backlogs but we can’t because our hospital beds are full with illegal immigrants and you expect her to keep quiet.

The last statistics showed that 80% of women giving birth at Musina hospital are illegal Zimbabweans and South African woman sometimes didn’t find beds to give birth on. We are trying to fix our healthcare system but we can never do it unless what our MEC is saying is addressed

Got news at 00:30 that pregnant women at Rahima Moosa hospital are sleeping on the floor for up to 3 days, I went there immediately and sadly found it to be true. We cannot allow this to continue 😠😠😠we must restore the HEART of service
