    From CISD Athletics: Tate Lombard, son of legendary Canyon Girls Basketball Coach Joe Lombard, has been hired as assistant basketball coach at Canyon High School. Lombard who is 35, has over 200 wins as a head coach and two state titles during his time at Wall.

    Amarillo ISD A-D, Brad Thiessen, has announced that he will bring the name of Rowdy Freeman to be approved by the AISD Board of Trustees as the Head Football Coach for Caprock at the next board meeting on June 19. News conference Tues. 3pm at Caprock A/C.
