    Amazing work - such rigour and thoroughness is essential.
    Re: data analytics, cabinet approved exit of 820,165 ineligible ppl from BISP lists on Dec 24, 2019. In Jan 2021 based on further data cleaning, another 29,921 were exited. The paperwork to access data used for cleaning lists was initiated in 2019. I have exact dates on file. 2/4

    Thank you, Laura! As editor in chief of that White Paper, I congratulate you on an excellent summary. It was an exhilarating few weeks when we were still learning how to govern. As you say, we were ambitious, idealistic and a little naïve.
    25 years ago New Labour were elected into power. Ten weeks later they brought forward a HUGE White Paper, Excellence in Schools, covering all parts of school reform. I've read back over it today & it's quite something! So, what did it say & what can we learn from it? 🧵...
