Today marks 8 years since the Quebec City Mosque Attack. We lost six lives to a senseless act of hate, and many others were injured. While we honour the memory of those we lost, we reaffirm our commitment to fight against Islamophobia, hate, & discrimination in all its forms.

I was deeply honoured to receive the Mental Health Hero Award from @OntShoresFdn. This award is dedicated to my son Alex, who we lost to suicide in 2018. Alex opened my eyes to the silent struggles of mental health, & I’ll keep advocating to raise awareness & break the stigma.
