I am pleased to share that the paddle board and items associated with the Great Lakes crossings, have a new home at The Canadian Canoe Museum, where they will be used to educate on mental health, disability, teamwork and community.

- I made it Canada. Today I became the first athlete with disabilities to cross Lake Superior from Wisconsin to Minnesota, in a time of 8 hrs 17 mins in my 3rd Great Lake Crossing in my run at crossing all 5 Great Lakes raising funds for kids across the country. 🇨🇦 I am so tired
- I just became the 2nd Canadian and the first person with disabilities to cross Lake Huron. Total time 28 hrs, 22 minutes and 49 seconds. I'm so tired but I'm home Canada💙

- 7 people have attempted Lake Huron. 2 people have been successful in her allowing them to cross. Once in 1988 and now today. I now become the first person with disabilities to cross Lake Huron. Lake Michigan is up next in two weeks. Thanks for all the love Canada. 🇨🇦

- The letter of congratulations in September was incredible, but I am overwhelmed that I was invited to the Prime Minister’s office to meet Prime Minister @JustinTrudeau. I am very moved and this is a moment much bigger than me. This is beyond me. 🇨🇦

- Gordon Lightfoot has been a part of so many journeys. His beautiful words provided a certain comfort to me during the crossing of Lake Superior, which scared me the most of all of them. His music was a lighthouse until I saw the lighthouse on the other side. Rest now. 🔔
- These two young gents walked up and down my street yesterday asking if they could shovel people’s driveways for $20. $10 each I am guessing. I tipped them to get them to come back next time and saw they did at least 7 houses on my street. They worked hard. Young entrepreneurs!
