Funny how many Kyle Rittenhouse fans suddenly have changed their opinions on vigilantism.
Readers added context they thought people might want to knowReaders added context
Missing context: Kyle Rittenhouse was acquitted of all charges after testifying that he acted in self-defense. Luigi Mangione would not be able to claim that he acted in self-defense. apnews.com/article/jury-f… nytimes.com/2024/12/17/nyr…

Hey @MountRainierNPS: Whoever assembles your marmots up at Paradise is clearly disregarding the instruction manual. Take a look at this off-brand model I saw this morning up by Pebble Creek!

My grandfather jumped from a plane at Normandy, fought at the Battle of the Bulge and looted Berchtesgaden, and I doubt he did as much to stop Nazis as you have. Thank you.

There is no good way to die, but some are preferable to others, and dying in the service of others is near the top of the list. Thank you, Dr. Schwartz.

Love how many people in this thread push the "self-defense" defense for Kyle when he deliberately traveled and put himself in the situation in order to have the opportunity to be a vigilante. They should share a cell.

He stalked me for a short stretch and stared at me as if to say “Cross me and I’ll happily eat your face.” Totally made my day!

Another premeditated murder was the denial of due benefits to customers of UnitedHealthcare, which led to multiple deaths as part of a business plan.

My grandfather jumped at Normandy, fought at the Battle of the Bulge and looted Hitler’s cognac stash at Berchesgarten, and never talked about any of it.

I can't help but come to the conclusion that the only way we will get back to sanity is public demonstrations by the grandchildren of these fellows who convinced Ronald Reagan to sign gun control legislation.

Shoutout to @US_Stratcom for what I believe has to be the fastest FOIA response in modern memory. Also, for a really adorable and reasonable explanation. :-)
