    UPDATE - @MarylandOSFM & @ATFBaltimore are continuing to assist @BCFDL734 @ChiefNilesRFord with the house explosion in the 6500 bl of Labyrinth. Investigators are staging & beginning their initial investigation. 1 person has died & 5 others are reported injured.

    Our sympathies are with the @BaltimoreFire and the family and friends of Lt. Paul Butrim, FF/Paramedic Kelsey Sadler, and FF/Paramedic Kenneth Lacayo, who died while fighting a structure fire, and critically injured EMT/FF John McMaster when it collapsed on them. #NeverForget

    Members of our Major Incident Response Team (MIRT) & @ATFBaltimore agents are still assisting @BaltimoreFire on the scene of the explosion. Investigators are slowing excavating the scene and removing debris. This is a laborious effort & continues to be an extended operation.

    #BREAKING A team of Deputy State Fire Marshals are responding to the @MDPublicSafety Baltimore City Jail for a fire inside the facility. Investigators will work with @BaltimoreFire determining the origin & cause of the fire. This is an active investigation. We will update ASAP

    OSFM Bomb Technicians and explosive detection K9s are assisting @BowieState PD with a telephonic bomb threat. We are being assisted by @MDSP, @PGFDNews. K9s will conduct sweeps of buildings and if discovered, mitigate any devices. This is reported bomb threat ONLY at this time.

    #BREAKING - Deputy State Fire Marshals are actively investigating a house explosion in the 2500 block of Thornberry Dr in Edgewood. It has been confirmed one person was inside the home at the time of the explosion and was able to self-extricate.

    Fire Investigators continue to comb through the remains of the home in Leonardtown that claimed the life of a firefighter earlier this morning. This will be an extended operation, and every resource of our agency, along with our partners, will be used to provide answers.

    #UPDATE - The OSFM has 15 investigators, a 1/4 of our personnel, actively investigating the cause of the fire that claimed the life @NASPaxRiverPAO firefighter. Investigators from @ATFBaltimore, and @PGFDNews @AACoFD, are assisting us. This is an active scene and will update ASAP
