    Watch as Baltimore City Firefighters arrive at a 1 alarm fire. A 1 alarm fire response is: 5 Engines (hose & water) 2 Trucks (big ladder) 1 #BCFDEMS Ambulance 2 @officers964 Battalion Chiefs Each member on each unit has a job. They work together to put the fire out & save lives.

    Yesterday was a nightmare. Three heroes gave their lives protecting Baltimore City. We will honor them, PJ, Kelsey, and Kenny, now and always, never forget. The battle is not over. FF John McMaster remains hospitalized. He will make it thru, he is a fighter! #KeepFightingJohn

    An update on FF McMaster. He’s awake & talking. He is still receiving care for his injuries, but appears to be on a good path. Our peer support team is by his side. He continues down his road to recovery. He & his family extend their sincere thanks to everyone. #KeepFightingJohn

    For the first time in its 225 year history, the entire Baltimore City Fire Department is out of service. In an incredible feat, coordinated by @MDMEMA, units from all corners of Maryland & DC will be covering calls so every BCFD member can attend the #BCFDFallenHeroes Service.

    It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Firefighter Rodney Pitts. Rodney succumbed to injuries sustained on yesterday’s fire in the 5200 Blk of Linden Heights Ave. Rodney graduated the Baltimore City Fire Academy in July.

    During the Stricker Street fire, FFPM Kelsey Sadler was acting in the Lieutenant position, the unit officer of Engine 14. By orders of @ChiefNilesRFord, Kelsey is posthumously promoted to the rank of Lieutenant.
