- Replying to @kateonadventureThe Lake District is definitely where you want to be driving on the left for the first time. In winter.
- First day out for @AvantiWestCoast’s first refurbished Pendolino, kicking off with the 0505 Piccadilly to Euston. New seats are fairly solid and slimline so legroom has improved, and all seats now have power points.
- Not likely to see many of these at Piccadilly in their last two weeks. Two drivers have collaborated on the board. I was not one of them!
- Getting the glowsticks out in Wilmslow siding. Always wondered what the ‘audio test file’ in the PIS menu did…
00:00 - Had a clear out of my work bag. Always thought I was low on drivers keys. Turns out my bag weighs so much for a reason
- Replying to @Fred_DeliciousTwo brothers at my school with the surname Ness. All well and good, but their parents had named then Andrew and Paul - A. Ness and P. Ness.
- Had to bring my train to a stand to deal with a trespasser. Who then questioned my right as a driver to do such a thing and subsequently accused me of being an agent of the Chinese state.
