- As the Jewish cemetery falls within St John's Parish, we prayed tonight at Mass for those who were deeply upset by the vandalism of the headstones of their loved ones on Thursday evening.

- Called into see Grand Central Station today - very impressed; yet less than half a mile away is Sandy Row, such a contrast, it seems forgotten.

- Delighted to have met Ciarán from Corpus Christi Youth Club. He was one of the first people on the scene when I collapsed in February putting me into the recovery position. Glad I haven't needed his help since then!

- At this stage of the Assembly election, two words come to mind - Congratulations and Compassion. Congratulations to all those who have been elected to serve. Compassion for those who this weekend have been left in tears and with broken dreams. Our common humanity unites us all.
