NIAS crews, including HEMS, are currently assisting our colleagues in ROI Nat Amb Service and other 999 services at the scene of an explosion in Creeslough. Our thoughts are with all the emergency response teams at the scene and those who were caught in the explosion. @healthdpt

Big shout out to one of our Rapid Response Paramedics who, when he couldn’t get to a patients house in Sth Down today because of the state of the roads, trudged through the snow for a mile with all his gear to makes sure she got treatment. She is now recovering in hospital 👏

Goodness knows but at the moment we could all do with something to “raise us up”. Step forward Sean Tranter and his trumpet. Sean is an ACA and treated his colleagues in Ardoyne station to this tonight. Beautiful Sean. Well done. Stay safe everyone @healthdpt

Happy New Year to all our staff but particularly those who are on duty tonight. During the year you have sacrificed family and personal time to help those who are in greatest need. Know that, although it sometimes seems you are on your own, you have the support of all. Thank you

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, friends and colleagues of Tammy Minshall, a Student Paramedic who died yesterday following a RTC when responding to a call. Tammy was just starting out on her career of choice with @OFFICIALWMAS when her life was tragically cut short.
