Meet Arthur, 86 and his wife Barbara, 82; the first couple in the east of England to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Barbara said “I’d much rather get the vaccine than COVID-19 itself”.

We have agreed to give to @RossKemp & a small crew access to capture the amazing efforts of NHS staff in response to #COVID19 This access has been risk assessed & agreed in discussion w/@NHSEngland. We believe it’s in the public interest to show them how hospitals are preparing
I’ve just been fitted for PPE and we’re about to go into an intensive care unit at Milton Keynes Hospital to witness the incredible efforts of medics treating Covid 19 patients. Please note we won’t be depleting the hospital’s PPE stock #COVID19 #coronavirus #nhs

    Replying to @MKHospital
We are spending minimal time in high risk areas & are ensuring the crew are wearing full PPE, as per national guidelines. As @RossKemp says, they are replacing any PPE used. We hope this show will provide the general public with vital info & reassurance.

A huge thank you to all the staff & patients who took part in the Ross Kemp: NHS on the frontline documentary. Our aim in taking part was to show a true picture of what's happening in hospitals like ours up & down the country. We are so proud of our staff &their incredible work.

This is part of a whole Sepsis walkway with have developed in the main corridor of the hospital. It features the signs for adults too, a patient story and lots of great images. Take a look when you’re next visiting.
Found this on the wall of a hospital - it’s great to see so many of them taking sepsis seriously If you don’t know the signs of sepsis, please take a second to look at this and RT so others can too - it just might save the life of someone you love

We are releasing a statement today on behalf of the family of the patient who sadly died having tested positive for COVID-19. The family do not wish to be identified at this time, and so the statement is released without naming the patient. bit.ly/39sNl17

We granted @guardian access to come & see the impact COVID is having on our hospital & staff. It’s important we tell this story to inform the public & reiterate the need to follow the rules, & stop the spread.
