From paralysis to parliament in ten years. Almost exactly ten years ago I was totally paralysed while studying in Argentina. Fortunately I made a full recovery thanks to our NHS, care system and a big dose of good luck. Am now here to fight for others 💪

Last night I asked the Water Minister what action is being taken to increase monitoring of sewage discharges, following reports of children falling ill after playing in the River Tawe. The @WelshLibDems will continue to call for better monitoring and stronger enforcement.

Youth unemployment in Wales is now 16% and has risen over 9x faster than in Scotland in the last year. We cannot afford a lost generation. Wales needs an urgent skills strategy, restored apprenticeship funding, and an end to Labour's damaging taxes on jobs.

Last night I voted for single living military accommodation to be brought up to the Decent Homes Standard. Unfortunately, Labour, the Tories & Reform all refused to support this. The Liberal Democrats will continue to stand up for our armed forces personnel.

HS2 has been a masterclass in Government mismanagement, years of delays, soaring costs & broken promises under the Tories Scotland & NI will continue to receive billions in consequential funding from HS2. Wales will still get nothing That is fundamentally unfair & must be fixed
