Remember everybody, the title “Mother of God” does not and never has been a claim or belief that Mary is the source or creator of the Trinity.
Nor is it even about her.

The title “mother of God” is solely about Who Jesus is:

Q1: is Mary the mother of Jesus?
If not, Scripture lies and we don’t need to talk about Christianity anymore.

Q2: is Jesus truly God?

I grew up Catholic. This belief stems from the Catholic belief that when we die, you go to purgatory. Then once into purgatory, you have to be 'prayed' into heaven by those still on earth. If you are not prayed into heaven, you go to hell. It is due to this unbiblical nonsense
