- Fun story: Brenda Corrie Kuehn was 8 months pregnant while playing in the 2001 U.S. Women's Open at Pine Needles (husband John was caddie). The baby born soon after, Rachel, is now 19 and a soph at Wake Forest; she won the Women's North & South Amateur @PinehurstResort Saturday.
