    Today we honored Ana Grace, one of the victims of the Sandy Hook tragedy, with the opening of the new CREC Ana Grace Academy of the Arts School Building. Thousands of lives will be enriched here at the academy, both students and teachers, in Ana Grace’s honor.

    Here in CT, Roe is enshrined in state law, and we are working to expand reproductive rights. @GovNedLamont & I will always protect a woman’s right to choose. Tonight, my heart breaks for the countless women living in states who are on the verge of losing their right to choose.

    Our hearts are heavy today as we mark 8 years since 20 beautiful children and 6 courageous adults were taken from us all too soon. An unprecedented outpouring of kindness & hope in the time following that tragic day taught us that only love & light can defeat darkness & hate.

    Today I announced the formation of a Reproductive Freedom Coalition: a multi-state coalition of 22 lieutenant governors that will work together to protect and expand reproductive freedom and access to health care in the wake of the decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.
