    β€œWhen you die, it does not mean that you lose to cancer. You beat cancer by how you live, why you live and in the manner in which you live.” β€” Stuart Scott Mom passed away this afternoon with my dad and myself by her side. She fought cancer until the end.

    Family update: My father and his wife are currently in the hospital with Covid pneumonia. Dad is even in the ICU due to needing more oxygen. It was turned down slightly this afternoon. Long way to go. Prayers appreciated.

    I’ve been pretty much off the radar the last few days. I am in Indiana caring for my mother at my parents’ home. We have called in hospice. Continued prayers appreciated as we keep her comfortable. #CancerSucks

    TSSAA Board of Control votes unanimously to go back to normal preseason calendar… meaning preseason scrimmages for fall and beyond are officially back on.

    Thanks to the #TeamTennessee high school staff for taking care of the @TSSAA DII championship games today. Sometimes you have to stop and be a dad. Like when your daughter asks you to the father-daughter dance.
