- Executive Order No. 55 becomes official
- We are saddened to hear of the passing of Nikki McCray-Penson. The former @CHSDragons and @LadyVol_Hoops star was inducted into the National High School Hall of Fame in 2015. She set 4 state records by the time she finished her high school career, all of which still stand today.
- We will NOT stand for: -Yelling obscenities -Berating officials -Criticizing hatefully -Behaving aggressively -Disrespecting others High school athletic events are no place for such immature, childish behavior. #BenchBadBehavior
- Legislative Council voted to approve a proposal to sanction the sport of Lacrosse for Boys and Girls beginning with the next classification cycle. This would be effective at the beginning of the 2021-22 school year.
- TSSAA executive director responds to Shelby County Schools superintendent
- The Board of Control approved proposal that Region Basketball Tournaments be played at the higher seed’s home court for the entire tournament during the 2020-21 school year due to COVID-19. Also voted that schools will play district tourney games at the higher seed’s home court
- Governor's attendance restrictions to be lifted on Feb. 1

- It is officially DEAD PERIOD for all sports! This means no coaching, observing, or contact between coach and players in sport involved. There is no practice, no open facilities, and no weight training/conditioning. Enjoy your break!
