Still banging on about the book at festivals everywhere - do get it to keep elderly relatives quiet over summer - plus thanks to @MatthewStadlen for this interview and there were people there, honest 😉
Yes! We won. All the important bits. I was discriminated against by @CGDev because of my beliefs.
A potential job offer and visiting fellowship were withdrawn. My biography was taken down from the website when I tried to assert my rights under the Equality Act (victimisation).
I think you're right Nikki. I had no idea (and frankly I am one of the better informed on this subject) and the producers didn't either. We need to tackle these issues fairly but not from the 'everyone calm down' perspective that fails to note who is violent and who is not.
On the toxicity issue raised by Dr Cass this morning, it's worth repeating: no major publisher would touch Hannah's book in spite of the fact that it was approved by the BBC as a piece of impartial reporting
The remarkable @hannahsbee did more than anyone else to raise Qs over NHS' treatment for young people questioning their gender
Brave and dogged reporting over many years for Newsnight & wrote the book while on maternity leave - always focused on welfare of those being treated
Great to see so many BBC colleagues at launch of Hannah Barnes book Time to Think - about the collapse of the children’s gender service at Tavistock clinic. ‘Essential reading’ says @maitlis - do BUY IT 💪
Caroline Flint stayed after she lost her seat and talked to everyone here at Doncaster - student radio, the lot. Calm, measured - constituency MP to the end.
Happy birthday to my mum - she’d have been 99 today: an age she wanted to make but couldn’t. My book (which she would not wholly approved of 😳)is a salute to her generation of single mums and a plea for all women to be able to meet, teach, campaign, and just be themselves 💪
Thanks for replying Steve. Will get in touch privately but worth saying publicly the BBC and other responsible organisations cut their ties with Stonewall because of this kind of claim - widely challenged for instance here
Hi Steve -- what is the source for these? As we know from the Samaritans guidelines suicide is almost never the result of one cause - so are we talking about doing further damage to already damaged children?
“I have two little girls. I don’t want them getting run over on a playing field by a male athlete. But as a Democrat I’m supposed to be afraid to say that.” Congressman @sethmoulton on moral courage and electoral success …
Folks…that's it from me. Thanks for putting up with me over the years. Its been an absolute privilege . I’m off now for some longer, much longer dog walks…...
What went wrong at the Tavistock Clinic?
Hannah Barnes, @BBCNewsnight investigations producer and author of Time to Think, tells @JustinOnWeb young people who went to the clinic's Gender Identity Development Service were 'let down'

So @BowenBBC and I had a small gathering to celebrate our 40 years in The BBC and here's an historic moment as the wonderful @mariannaspring explains the internet to a sceptic😳
