- I’ve been joking about how Africans and West Indians been prepared for corona. We grew up with canned goods and rice. Buying produce with long shelf lives. Sanitizing everything with dettol. But It just dawned on me that it means our families always lived in a state of survival.

- Weekends aren’t even two days anymore. After a certain age you need Sunday to get your life together to handle Monday. It’s really only Saturday.

- You really got to ask men what romance looks like to them the first date or before you gonna be in a relationship with a 365 grinch. I don’t wish that incompatibility on anyone. You’ll feel under appreciated and they’ll feel nagged and annoyed.
