    “Canceled at 17” is a really irresponsible headline for a story about a boy who shared naked pictures of a girl without her consent and experienced consequences for it. Interrogate whether those consequences are just, sure. But stop fucking conflating “cancel” with CONSEQUENCE

    My god the ENTIRE TIME Chadwick Boseman was working in the MCU he carried this with him. Worked through it. Red carpets through it. Interviews through it. I can’t imagine the weight of it in the public eye. What a god damn actor. What a man. This is too awful.

    I remember interviewing Eggers when THE WITCH came out and he was so bothered that the family eats around a 3-wick candle in their home because it was the only way he could get enough candle light in the scene but IT WAS NOT A PERIOD-ACCURATE CANDLE.

    The Transylvanian-set scenes in Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu were exclusively lit by candlelight. Cinematographer Jarin Blaschke carefully arranged hundreds of candles, adjusting the light by lighting or extinguishing them as needed. #Nosferatu

    A "cult" classic does not run for 7 seasons with more than 150 episodes, including a years later revival because it was a cultural touchstone that a company wanted to cash in on. Guys this was just a hit.

    I know the kids are used to this stuff by now but I’m still just really amazed and happy about the fact that this can happen now and it’s… totally fine & normal. Just 2 girls who are gonna get married sharing a red carpet moment with each other. I’m emotional and it’s wonderful
