Why is $RKT good at refinance? One key reason is they manufacture 30-40bps extra perceived refi incentive by financing discount points. More than most lenders and way more than depositories. I do a detailed review of the refinance incentive on every owned GSE MSR in Rocket

Living in 1 unit of a 4 unit property in NYC probably doesnt qualify as "sweet digs" even if FHA is making your mtg payments and you are collecting rent on the 3. But FHA making your payments on a millon dollar Utah mountain ski home? That just might. FHA Loan of the Day 1/6

Almost 4 years and just 3 payments!?! Getting the FHA to cover your mortgage payments isnt just for million dollar borrowers. The Partial Claim Gravy Train has economy class too. Stopping at a GA station today. All aboard! FHA Loan of the Day 1/6

FHA Loan of the Day Part-1/4 $236,000 loan at 3.5% in TN First Payment Due Date: 5-1-2020 Payments Made through 7-1-2022: 0 FHA does ~$38,000 partial claim in July to cover the missed payments and bring the loan current.

My latest research is a shocker. FHA Covid-19 Recovery Loan Modifications originated over the past 2 years are running ~70% delinquent, ~55% seriously delinquent. Up to 160,000 of them. An abject FHA loss mitigation policy failure. Find out why. Link in first reply

Feb MBS* data dropped last night. In Feb, FHA did ~31,000 stand alone partial claims, paying ~$250,000,000 to cover ~173,000 missed mortgage payments for ~31,000 borrowers Almost the same as January. *Data covers ~87% of full FHA portfolio
