- 1. The screed written by Clarkson and the subsequent rationalisation dressed as an apology should horrify us all. You don't have to be "pro" Meghan or "woke" to recognise rabid, unhinged misogyny when you see it - and to reject it unequivocally.

- Just for the record, if you “abstain” from taking a position about incivility or corruption, you are not magically absolved of responsibility, you are complicit. Culture is defined by the worst behaviour you tolerate.
- His son just killed people. He’s just relieved his son isn’t gay.
