- For "only" a 4.8 magnitude earthquake, it was felt 100s of miles of way. That doesn't happen on the West Coast. Why? The Earth's crust is more dense and harder on the East Coast. That means the earthquake's tremors can be felt farther away than a California 4.8 quake.
- The smoke from the huge Ocean City fire was being picked up on radar this morning. Radar shoots out a beam from Dover, DE Air Force Base. Rain, snow, sleet, flock of birds and smoke can all be picked up on it.

- Friday's snow scenario likelihood. Scenario 1 - 40% Scenario 2 - 50% Scenario 3 - 10% Scenario 2 is interesting. Something called a "Norlun trough" would bring a thin, but heavy band of snow in that darker blue. That happened Dec. 2018, right in South Jersey!
