Weight loss over 40 is exhausting! I've been tracking calories, hitting high protein targets, strength training twice a week and getting steps in for six weeks now, and I've lost a grand total of 2.8lbs. Slow and steady wins the race, right? RIGHT?

My girls are not enthusiastic readers 😭 but this week, I've set a time each evening when the three of us sit down with our books in a quiet room and read for a set time, then we each tell the others what we've just read. And it's a little slice of heaven! 💝

Hubby went to pick doggy up from daycare. Daycare rings me to say he's got the wrong dog and could he bring her back. I'm not sure any woman would do this and I don't think I'll send him to pick the kids up any time soon 😂 both dogs successfully exchanged 😂

OK, husband just told me he woke up at 5am and saw a woman bending over in the corner of our bedroom saying hello to our cat. She was see-through. And now I'll be moving out 😱😱😱

Want to hear a wild story? In Dec, @jadereilly said I should do an Ancestry DNA test b/c the results are fascinating. Two weeks ago, I got my results. Yesterday, I went for a lovely coffee with the dad I've never known and wasn't even looking for 🥰🥰🥰

Very disappointed by #strictly this year. Shayne was the far better dancer. They'll do anything to keep Wynne (why, I have no idea!). And they definitely tried to set Jamie up to go. Quite mad over here
