My favorite internist once said "A surgeon is a internist with a scalpel" and I think that is incredibly true One cannot be am excellent surgeon without being excellent doctor both inside and outside of the operating room. #ctcareers #tssmn

I’ve secretly really enjoyed internal medicine. Perpetually missing the operating room (big surprise, I know) but have loved learning how to care for patients outside of it.
