    After a heartbreaking few days 💔 since Dad died, we’ve taken such comfort from all the messages about the impact my Dad had as a Headteacher @EastbankAcademy 🌟 With permission to share, this has filled me with such hope, strength & happiness ❤️ thank you 🙏 @maureen0207

    Remembering our beautiful baby girl, Emily Arthur, born sleeping on this day 19 years ago, 9th August 2001 at 39 1/2 weeks💔sharing in order to keep her memory alive, as her mother this is my duty & raise awareness abt #stillbirth which sadly still happens far too often @SandsUK

    Tonight, 22 years ago, whilst 39 1/2 weeks pregnant, we were dealing with the shocking news that our baby had no heartbeat & would be stillborn💔please remember that Emily was still born❤️Remembering all beautiful babies who don’t make it & sadly this still happens all too often.

    Great to see so many schools declaring that there will be no more wet intervals and ensuring children are benefitting from playing outdoors 👍🏼☔️🌦 ‘there is no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing’ 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 wellies and waterproofs to the rescue 👍🏼😃

    With a heavy heart I have to tell you that our dear Dad went to sleep & passed away peacefully in his armchair last night. He fought the hardest & bravest of battles with dignity as he lived his whole life. We are simply heartbroken 💔@ProstateUK @macmillancancer

    6 months ago I lost my Dad & my biggest fan. I miss him so much it hurts. He spent the last 3 months of his life shielding, after a brave cancer battle. He reassured us scientists would find a vaccine by Christmas. On this historic day I can hear him saying ‘I told you so...’ 💙

    Huge thanks for all the messages❤️most of you who know me, knew my Dad was also a Headteacher @EastbankAcademy for almost 28 years. He retired 10 years ago & enjoyed a healthy 6 years before he became ill. Former pupils & staffs messages have meant so much & are appreciated ❤️

    Too good not to share these thoughts that a HT shared online - her final comment is ‘What if among these children, a great leader emerges who had the benefit of a slower pace and a simpler life to truly learn what really matters in this life?❤️❤️ What if they are AHEAD? ❤️❤️❤️❤️’
