I regret to announce that we have lost our first doctor, Dr Mohammed Ali, a Tanzanian National, 37yr old Male today at 3:15am. He tested positive of Ebola on Sept 26, 2022 and died while receiving treatment at Fort Portal RRH, Isolation facility ( JMedic).
I regret to announce the passing of another Health worker, Ms. Nabisubi Margaret, an anesthetic officer. The 58 year old succumbed to Ebola at 4.33am this morning at Fort Portal Hospital (JMedic) after battling the disease for 17 days.
Absolutely speechless and touched to see this dedicated and committed Enrolled Nurse Ms.Nambozo Agnes from Buluganya Health Centre III. She is on her way to Masheluse village in Nataba parish, Young Child Clinic outreach to vaccinate children.

This is a good weekend! 555 samples tested today and all were NEGATIVE for COVID-19. 184 samples were from institutional quarantine while 371 samples were from the community.

Good to note that samples from 7 suspected cases with #COVID19 like symptoms from Kampala and Kanungu Districts have tested negative for #COVID19.
To-date, Uganda has NO confirmed case of COVID-19. #STAYSAFEUG
All 338 samples tested today are negative for COVID-19. Thank God.

Total recoveries are now 45 in Uganda.
