- Unexplained decisions erode trust. While the US can revoke entry permissions, these powers should be exercised with clear reason, not arbitrarily. I hope these cases are resolved, true to the original promise of the World Cup being an inclusive event.
- My constituent has had his ESTA revoked without explanation ahead of the US FIFA World Cup. He has a clean record, adequate security clearance and a history of lawful US travel. I’ve written to the Scotland Office requesting urgent help resolving this case as soon as possible.

- 11 years ago today, the Highlands lost a much-loved and greatly trusted public servant. Charles Kennedy. Charles understood his Highland constituents because he was one of them. Everything I do today, I hold up against the standard Charles set. He is not forgotten.
- Banking hubs are an excellent system in place of countless bank closures. However, we need to hit the nail on the head with a solution which guarantees access to banking services, not just cash. The Government needs to update the Financial Services and Markets Act urgently.

- I am relieved the Government are conducting an independent review of banking services. Persistence pays off. Financial inclusion does not begin and end with cash access. We need to update the current legislation to guarantee access to banking services.
