This is not our way. We include under our umbrella every component of the Jewish community from the most Orthodox to the most liberal. We affirm with confidence that the way of the Jewish people has never been and will never be to call for genocide.

We unequivocally support Israel’s right to defend itself and dismantle the Hamas terrorist organization. But right now we are mourning the lives lost in our community, not wishing the same fate on others

Well before Congress, NYC Council Member @RitchieTorres led with integrity. In that spirit, he visited & studied Israel, drawing his own conclusions. All our Representatives should follow his lead.
There’s a false narrative that I am pro-Israel because of “the Jewish lobby” or “Jewish money” or whatever antisemitic tropes critics wish to invoke. Left unmentioned is the fact that I have been pro-Israel for nearly a decade—long before I ever thought of running for Congress.

Statement by Michael S. Miller, Executive Vice President and CEO of the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York (JCRC-NY) on NYC DSA Questionnaire: That the NYC DSA would require candidates to pledge, if elected, not to travel to Israel is despicable.
This is from @nycDSA questionnaire for 2021 City Council candidates. It asks them to pledge not to travel to Israel.

Monday night's actions amount to blatant intimidation and incitement to violence. Signs claiming "Zionists are not Jews and not Humans'' is literally dehumanizing. Chanting "Long live the Intifada" is a rallying cry for terrorism & bloodshed. See our full statement below.

We helped bring @novaexhibition to NYC to show the unspeakable horrors that occurred on 10/7. Yesterday’s so-called protest was abhorrent.
