- About an hour ago, I was traveling from the Capitol to the Hyatt hotel when a MAGA demonstrator, screaming from a microphone, called me a "homeboy in a suit." Sorry MAGA but the name is Congressman-elect Ritchie Torres.
- SHOCKING: Ron DeSantis has BANNED the teaching of AP African American Studies in Florida. Florida has gone from Don’t Say Gay to Don’t Say Black.
- George Santos pretended to be a gay Afro-Latino Ukrainian Brazilian Catholic Jew whose mother died on 9/11, whose ancestors survived the Holocaust, whose employees died in the Pulse club mass shooting, and whose net worth rose by millions overnight. Am I missing anything?
- BIG NEWS: I am introducing a bill to require candidates to disclose under oath their employment, educational, & military history so we can punish candidates who lie to voters about their qualifications. It will be called the Stop Another Non-Truthful Office Seeker (SANTOS) ACT.

- Governor Abbott claims to be a “pro-life Christian” yet shows no regard for the lives of children left shivering in the freezing cold on Christmas Eve. Dropping off migrants in 18 degree weather is so cruel that it ought to be criminal.
- Kyle Rittenhouse got away with fatally shooting two people after injecting himself into a dangerous situation where he had no business being. He is in no position to lecture anyone about accountability.
- The far right has unleashed homophobic hate against me. I refuse to be intimidated. When I presided over the Respect for Marriage Act, I had a simple message for the far right fanatics: your time has expired.
