I got rejected from Anduril bc I was aloof. I recognize I sounded this way but I was just nervous about the technical so I wasn’t as emotive as I normally am. Anyways, this was my dream company and role and I can’t believe I fucked it up on the behavioral aspect. I feel like I

yeah for sure. he believed in me and when i talked with him i performed rly well. just got nervous during my technical interview which made me perform bad when he asked me behavioral esque questions

complaining about getting rejected by @anduriltech somehow got me featured in @BusinessInsider. it also led to interviews @thinkymachines @perplexity_ai. lesson: be loud. be bold. staying “polite” or reserved would’ve cost me the one tweet that changed everything.

More people need to fail and be humiliated. Bc it teaches u it’s literally not that big of a deal. Whether it’s a pickup line at a party that lands so poorly that everyone look at u like ur an alien that sneaked on earth or if it’s launching a product that you hype the fuck

i honestly did not expect this post to blow up. but 1000% YES. i got to eat dinner with the founders, learn from them, and even in the event of rejection i got a wall of actionable feedback from the best recruiter who i ever had. and i could tell he really wanted me to win the
