👊
Nurses and midwives are going on strike for only the second time in 100 years.
They are standing up for patients and fair pay.
If you're near a picket from 8am-4pm tomorrow, drop by and show your support.

The INMO and its members condemn in the strongest possible terms the protests today outside Minister Harris' family home. The protests are completely inappropriate.
Our thoughts are with the family, friends & classmates Shauna McGrath. Shauna was a UL midwifery student who will be missed by her classmates & by all who worked with her in Waterford University Hospital & University Maternity Hospital Limerick. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam uasal
THANK YOU for all the messages of support for Ireland's nurses and midwives.
The INMO is a small team and we're focused on strong pickets and patient care today - forgive any delay in replying!
Extremely disappointing during a crisis like this.
The Mater Private Hospitals are refusing to treat their nurses the same as the public sector, forcing them to use ordinary sick leave instead of the special leave offered in the public sector. (1/2)
Our first 24-hour strike has now come to an end. Two more scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday of next week.
We are hugely grateful for the support and understanding of our patients, colleagues, and the public. (1/2) >>
