    It is with tremendous sadness that we inform you of the sudden passing of active 1212 member Firefighter Steven Rabak. Brother Rabak was involved in an accident off-duty. Please keep Steven and his family in your thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time. May he RIP.

    It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Retired Fire Captain Andy DeRoos. 

Andy was a fighter and he battled until the very end, but sadly lost his fight last night when he passed away, surrounded by family. 

We extend our sincere sympathy to his family.

    It is with profound sadness we acknowledge the passing of Fire Inspector, Brother Dave Monkhouse. Dave succumbed to work related illness yesterday after a lengthy and valiant battle. We would like to send our deepest condolences to the Monkhouse family.
