Diagnosing a child in the ED with new onset Type 1 Diabetes is hard. Diagnosing your own child with it is 1000 times more painful. #tryingtokeepittogether

Doctors cannot accept lunch from a pharmaceutical rep because it may influence their decision. Yet politicians can accept millions in cash from interest groups and that’s legal! Ok that makes sense. #TimeForChange #MSDStrong

These are available in the US and have been used widely in China. I am trying to get these in from China to test my medics on the front lines. I have no relationship with the manufacturer. Happy to share our results in 3 weeks or so once we’ve collected a good amount of data.

Consider this. You need to establish IV access in a patient but have had no luck starting a line. A research team from @SATXFire and @HISCentre published a paper on "Graduated Access for Hypotensive Patients (GAHP)." It's the use of an IO to obtain IV access. Before you get

Why do I love the @NAEMSP conference? I’m holding freeze dried plasma from a single donor in my hand. It’s the weight of a few pieces of paper and can be kept non-refrigerated for months Reconstitute it with 200 mL and it’s ready to be administered. This will be a panacea
