So grateful to have been selected as @UKLabour Parliamentary Candidate for North West Leicestershire. Massive thank you to the members for your support and to those that work so hard to ensure these selections run smoothly.

So proud of my 11yr old, she is allergic to Dairy, Egg and Sesame seeds. She gave a talk to her class about allergies and took in her training epi pen. Thank you to @BosworthAcademy for allowing her to raise awareness with her friends about allergies. #allergies

As we approach 2024, North West Leicestershire will finally get the chance to vote for a brighter future with a Labour Government and a Labour MP. Iโ€™m looking forward to getting back out on the doorsteps, visiting local businesses and community organisations. Happy New Year๐ŸŽ†

Thank you to @Keir_Starmer and @wesstreeting for taking the time today to visit Long Lane Surgery and speak to patients and NHS colleagues about the 8am scramble for a GP appointment. Itโ€™s time for change. #VoteLabour
Patients like those I met in Leicestershire should not be forced to queue at 8am on the phone to book a GP appointment. Labour will end the 8am scramble so you can see a GP when you need to. Itโ€™s time for change. It will only happen if you vote for it next Thursday.

Statement from the Labour group Leaders of Leicestershire County and North West Leicestershire on the suspension of Andrew Bridgen. His behaviour in recent months has been shocking and brought his role into disrepute, in any other job he would be sacked.

Braunstone Parish is in the lockdown area. Our community needs to see the basis for why they are included within the lockdown area. Release the data. #GetLeicsTheData #leicesterlockdown

Finally, the Tories get rid of Bridgen. As I said back in January, this dreadful tweet was the tip of the iceberg. It was after he was found to have lied under oath and suspended from parliament for breaching lobbying rules. About time he resigned.

The latest shocking tweet, is another incident of shameful behaviour from Bridgen. The tories have finally removed the whip. Next step is his resignation, which is what @LabourNWL have been calling for in our latest leaflet drop.

This tweet appears to have been the one that crossed the line..

So this is what Iโ€™ve been up to today. Really proud to be representing Labour in Leicestershire as the Group Leader.
Proud to be at County Hall to see my friend and colleague @Hack4Labour become leader of the Labour Group at Leicestershire County Council. A great achievement for an outstanding councillor. Congratulations and Good Luck.

Great day taking to voters in Kegworth and Castle Donington. So many supporting Labour at the General Election and for @Rory_Palmer in the Police and Crime Commissioner election. Pit stop needed to warm up at the Jolly Sailor in Hemington. #LabourDoorstep
