    I’m glad the Yates foundation is bringing attention to the extreme levels of abuse in this league. I’m angry, I’m hurt, and this has reopened so many wounds. My heart goes out to all those who are feeling the pain today. You are not alone 🤍

    Thank you for the last two years at a club as great as the Red Stars 😊They were a blast. I’ll miss the city, my amazing teammates, & @ChicagoLocal134 . So many unforgettable memories! Excited for this next chapter in my career! Grateful I get to do what I love around the 🌎.

    We got FIRST seed but forced to play an away semi. Got robbed of a goal & a last minute PK. The refs aren’t good enough. There was a lot on the line last night. But I know the heart & drive of this team is incomparable. Quite frankly, we are pissed off. Watch out😈

    When you have someone in a position of power who has covered up the abuse of your teammates and you thank him for what he’s done for women’s soccer, it’s extremely disappointing. We ask people to support women’s soccer yet we can’t even support our own. Do better.

    In all my years in the NWSL, every time I was looking at the games for the weekend I would see Reign vs Thorns and think “oh that will be a fun game to watch”. Well last night I got to be a part of it and can confirm - very fun. Pumped we got the 3 points 😆🌧

    Thanks to all the brave souls before me who shared their painful stories, I was able to share, and put my name to mine. There’s been an immense amount of mental, emotional & sexual abuse endured by far too many for far too long, including myself. Sending love & healing to all. 🤍

    A statement from the NWSLPA:
    Today, the NWSL and NWSLPA Joint Investigative Team released its report after a 14-month investigation into abuse and misconduct towards NWSL players throughout the League’s history. The 125-page document details facts uncovered during the course of a thorough investigation that sought to identify who and what failed us, and when, and how we move forward to create a better and safer League for all Players. The objective evidence illustrates systemic League, club and individual failures and omissions that resulted in documented direct and indirect harm to current and former players. It is a hard but necessary read.
