Contraception fails. There's also men that don't want to be fathers who are thrust into the role. An unwanted child isn't good for anyone. Besides, we have a way to forestall this outcome - abortion.

Bad people with bad ideas & viewpoints exist. They make good fantasy baddies. Story emerges from conflict. Racism is a source of conflict. Allegory is a way of addressing RL issues with style and artistry, rather than propaganda. We will never be past the need for fantasy racism

Real talk, the RPG community has always been tremendously welcoming and egalitarian and has always bent over backwards to include people. This narrative of being unwelcoming is new, and broadly fictitious beyond anecdotes. Lying about it serves no good purpose.
