- We’re making smart investments in critical infrastructure. 18 Kansas communities have secured more than $13M for airport and energy grid resilience improvements, enhancing quality of life, boosting our economy, and building a stronger future for our state.
- I signed HB 2534 to help protect Kansas students from the dangers of fentanyl. By requiring school districts to develop fentanyl abuse prevention programs, we’re giving young Kansans the knowledge they need to make informed decisions and save lives.
- We’re continuing to invest in local bridges across the state. More than $40M has been awarded to 31 projects in Kansas, creating safer, more reliable transportation networks for Kansans who use them every day.
- Congratulations to the 21 students from five Kansas schools who have received the @KansasDeptofAg Kansas Agriculture Skills and Competencies Certificate. These students have maintained a 2.5 GPA or higher and have shown exceptional leadership in agricultural education.
- To celebrate #America250KS, @TravelKS is sharing stories that embody the Kansas 250 vision of "Per Aspera." President Dwight D. Eisenhower from Abilene expanded the Interstate Highway System and guided the nation through the Cold War while bolstering the economy.

- Last week, I ceremonially signed Sidnee’s Law, named after Sedgwick County Deputy Sidnee Taylor Carter, who lost her life to a driver under the influence who had 2 prior DUI charges. This bill ensures that prior convictions are considered when assessing DUI charges.
- Bridges are crucial transportation infrastructure for Kansans who rely on them to get to school and work.
