Today, we returned to Khan al-Ahmar. The E1 project puts this historic Bedouin village at immediate risk of demolition —a direct violation of intl. law that undermines any chance for peace. We remain resolute in our opposition to these evictions and all settlement expansion.

Shocked and saddened by the terror attack in and around Kochav Yair in central Israel this Sunday morning. My heart goes out to the family of the man who died of gunshot wounds, and to the injured persons. I hope they will recover in full.

Good news that @ICRC can resume visits of prisoners and detainees after Israeli High Court ruling. ICRC with all its experience and expertise is best placed to assess detention conditions and advise governments on it.

.@yadvashem will open its first education centre outside Israel in Germany. Today they announced that it will be in Munich. What an opportunity (and responsibility) to take Holocaust education and remembrance into the future. Thank you, Yad Vashem, for the trust you put in us.
