- Honored our college commits with the entire program today. At a young age, many kids dream of playing ball past the high school level. However, most will have a difficult time getting to their senior year, let alone college. Congrats, Gents on this milestone in your journey!
- The Foxes (3-0) got another early candidate for start of the year from Skroch (@sskroch16). He threw a dominating perfect game and punched out 16 in the process!!! ***Not a typo***
- Tomorrow, we honor our 12 seniors for 4 unique years that have have included: 1. Cancelled Season 2. Playing with masks 3. Hosted a Sectional Championship 4. Ranked in the Top 10 in IL Thank you Seniors. Please Enjoy.
00:00 - Well…after getting the wrong bus w/o a toilet, climate extremes within said bus, traffic extremes, wrong directions that caused us to miss our stop at the U of Alabama and 19 hours of travel we made to Gulf Shores! Special thanks to our parents who stock the house!
- The Foxes (4-0) saw yet another pitching performance that was out of this world. Lee (@lee_lebaron) threw a 5 inning no-hitter and faced one over the minimum. ALL 15 OUTS WERE STRIKEOUTS!!! ***Again, not a typo*** N. Harris (@NateHarris1515) had a double and a homer as well.
- The SPC played for 6 regional championships & took home 4 titles today. I’ll say it to anyone who will listen; this is one of the best baseball conferences in the state. Good luck at sectionals, gents. @pnhsbaseball | @MinookaBaseball | @OEHSbaseball | @OHS_Baseball1
- The Foxes (29-8) season comes to an end at the hands of @pnhsbaseball. Hats of to them, they played a great game. Couldn’t be prouder of our group of kids. This loss hurts, but it doesn’t take away from what we did. Seniors: Thank you for all you have done to for YHS.
- It’s been a great four days of tryouts. In all, we had 104 athletes compete for our three levels. It had been amazing to see the amount of talent walking through the hallways at YHS. Congratulations to those of you who made it. Now the real work begins! @YHSAthletics115
