- New windscreens are up on varsity field. PNHS grounds crew is the best. Also, thanks to PNHS boosters for helping purchase.
- Congratulations Brandon Bak on signing today with UIC baseball.
- Tigers defeat Plainfield East 6-2 Regional Champions for the 13th time. Benton Horwath picks up the win by throwing 4 1/3 scoreless innings, giving up 4 hits and striking out 6. Joe Guiliano went 2-4 with a double. Drew Darlington started the 7th inning rally with a bunt hit.
- Tigers defeat Plainfield East in close contest by the score of 5-4. Regional hero, again, is Greg Budig with a two run go ahead homer in the bottom of the sixth. Sammy Valdez with the gutsy save and Harrison Pfeifer with a one pitch win. That is now ten regional titles in a row!
- Our thoughts and prayers go out to the young man’s family, friends, and the entire Providence Catholic community.
