- After decades of dormancy, another product of the Lima Locomotive Works has taken a bold step toward revival. In recent months, several members of our engine crew have been working alongside the newly formed team leading the restoration of Chesapeake & Ohio Steam Locomotive 614.
00:00 - We’re excited to share three key updates on the campaign to restore New York Central steam locomotive No. 3001: 1. We’ve raised 56% ($284,643) of our initial $500,000 goal. These funds are crucial to underwriting the initial preparation, transportation, and overhaul work.
- We've acquired the Riding Mountain Park – a dome-lounge-observation car originally built for the Canadian Pacific in 1954.
