    Check out this simple, safe & pragmatic guide for managing DDI’s with paxlovid on @covidDDIs. Thanks @kndhill. Tools like this & Liverpool website/app mean that non specialists can manage DDI to ensure the most amount of patient benefit & access to a 1st line drug

    New website for COVID-19! As some HIV or HBV/HCV drugs are being trialled against COVID-19, we have produced drug interaction information for these drugs and other experimental agents. Please check the website regularly for updates as new drugs are added. covid19-druginteractions.org

    Over 120 Molnupiravir Rxs written over last 2 wks (including Christmas Day!) by us @alisonboyle_1 @laskeyj @Kimberley_P23 Amazing effort from GGC at implementing this pathway quicker than anything I’ve been involved in & a huge team effort. Every last person went above & beyond.

    A brilliant poster & 🧵from Kirsteen, pharmacists are key for paxlovid. Removing all amber & red interactions would result in only 40% of patients getting paxlovid, using pharmacists to manage interactions increased this to 71% increasing access to a more efficacious treatment.

    Spent time this a.m helping my friend in her community pharmacy, a crazy amount of pressure they are under! I’m hearing lots about drs &nurses being moved to help, come on pharmacy there are many non urgent roles that can take a back seat to help out colleagues on the front line

    In the home straight of having COVID with the kids & grateful to have the most amazing family & friends who made doorstop drop offs feel like Christmas day for us. Me & my new antibodies are looking forward to getting back to work 🦠💪
