- I am heart broken today. The legendary Chris Owens, the queen of Bourbon Street has passed away. I can’t begin to say what a loss this is to New Orleans and all of us who love her.
- New Orleans and the world have lost another legend. Mac Rebennack better known as Dr. John died this morning. He truly was one of the greatest musicians this city has ever produced. It is a very sad day.

- Today would have been my friend, the late great Fats Domino’s 93 birthday. All of us who knew him are thinking about Antoine Fats Domino today. He was the best 🙏.
- This is happening at St. Charles and Washington. A woman trapped under a streetcar. We have a @WWLTV crew on the way.
- A lot of people have been asking where I’ve been the last 3 weeks. I really appreciate all the messages of concern. I’ve been dealing with a medical issue (not coronavirus). Everything is good and I hope to be back soon. I’m not sure @ShebaTurk even knows I’m gone. Sad!
- The light show the Audubon Zoo officially starts tonight. The Zoo Lights bring the kid in all of us.
- We said goodbye to our friend @karenswensen on her last day here at @WWLTV. Karen started on this show and we were so glad she came back on her last day. We’re all gonna miss her.
- Today would have been my old friend, the late great Fats Domino’s 92nd birthday. His legacy and music will live forever. We miss you Fats!
- The best Black and Gold picture I’ve ever had. Teaching my youngest son what it takes to be a @Saints fan. Thanks to Elizabeth Branch for the picture!
